SHENZHEN, China, May 25, 2017 – Huntkey, a global leading provider of power solutions, has become an official partner of 2017 Demacia Cup, one of the most professional and popular e-sport competitions in China held by Tencent Games, one of China’s biggest online game developers. Twenty-eight professional e-sport teams will fight for the championship to win up to RMB 500,000 from May 23 to June 4.

League of Legends (LoL for short) is an online multiplayer session-based game combines elements of role-playing and strategy genres. It is operated by Tencent Games in China and has quickly become famous among millions of gamers. As its popularity rises, more and more LoL e-sport league matches, tournaments and championships are being held, including Demacia Cup. Demacia Cup is a single-elimination competition which has been held for three years since 2014. In 2017, Huntkey has partnered with Tencent Games again to bring Demacia Cup to LoL lovers.

In 2017 Demacia Cup, there are a total of 6 rounds. From May 23 to May 28, the e-sport event begins with a group stage of 24 teams, divided into 4 groups (Group A, B, C and D), and each group has 6 teams. Each team meets other one team in its group in a single-elimination format. After 3 rounds, there will be one winning team from each group that will progress to the next round. From June 1 to June 2, the 4 winning teams will compete with the top 4 teams from LPL Spring Season (also held by Tencent Games) for spots in the semifinals. On June 4, 1 champion will come out after the finals and will win RMB 500,000.

Many people believe that power strips are just an extension of outlets and that we do not need to pay much attention to them. I used to be like that too. In fact, not all power strips are alike, and some even put you and your devices at risk. We talked to an electrician to sort out how to tell the good ones from the bad ones.

First, we can judge from the materials of the power strips' panel. The good ones usually boast excellent flame retardancy, high insulation and favorable impact resistance. High-quality panels have strong stability.

Second, the appearance of a high quality power strip is generally very smooth and textured with the logos and other identification marks being very clear.

The internal structure shows us the quality of the power strip more intuitively. Without being welded, the integral copper bar can completely eliminate security problems caused by empty solder and leakage solder, thereby improving the safety and durability of the power strip, and it can reduce "heat up" leading to lower energy costs.
